How did Eric propose? We had just gotten home to NYC from a two-week cruise in Europe on Wednesday, June 4th. On Friday, June 6th, when I got home from work, I was shocked to see that there were hundreds of rose petals spread on the floor, leading from the doorway to the bedroom. Eric was there, waiting in a suit (for almost 2 hours! Oops!) and gave the most heart-warming speech before getting down on one knee. After I said yes, and still in shock, Eric said he had made plans for dinner uptown. Once we got there, I was surprised, yet again, to see that he arranged for my parents to fly in for this joyous occasion. The rest of the weekend was filled with family and friends.
Standout Memory of the night: We don’t have one standout memory. The whole night was magical, we loved every last detail.
Honeymoon Location: Hawaii. We started at the St. Regis Princeville in Kauai and then the Four Seasons in Maui.
One piece of advice that you could give to other couples: Don’t stress about the little things. Remember to eat and stay hydrated! Stay by each other’s side. Try to enjoy every moment, the night goes by so quickly!
Wedding Dress: Vera Wang
Groom’s Tux: Ralph Lauren Black Label at Ralph Lauren
Bridesmaids’ Gift and Groomsmen’ Gift:
For the bridesmaids: Hair & Makeup, matching pajama sets to wear while we got ready, canvas totes and custom tassel necklaces.
For the groomsmen: David Yurman cufflinks to wear at the wedding.
Something Blue and Something Borrowed: Something borrowed was my late great-grandmothers bracelet and veil, as well as my mother’s earrings. My something blue was worn underneath my dress
Testimonial: Wow. Felix was amazing. We cannot thank him and his team enough for capturing our wedding day. He was direct, kind, funny and a pleasure to work with. We appreciate that he hit every picture on our list as well as doing what he does best during the event. We had a very hard time picking our favorites. The pictures speak for themselves. Thank you!
