How did Geoff propose? On the deck of a beautiful house in Telluride, CO.
Standout Memory of the night: Saying my vows, the ride up to the party after the ceremony, and my father’s speech.
Honeymoon Location: Bora Bora!
One piece of advice that you could give to other couples: Take 5 minutes between the ceremony and the party just to be with your husband or wife ( a plate of food and glass of champagne doesn’t hurt either).
Wedding Dress: Monique Lhuillier, The Wedding Salon of Manhasset.
Groom’s Tux: Ermenegildo Zegna, Short Hills Mall.
Bridesmaids’ Gift and Groomsmen‘ Gift: Rose, white, and yellow gold bracelets from London Jewelers, and Ferragamo Ties
Something borrowed and something blue: My something blue was my “Mrs. Scott” undergarments. My something borrowed were my earrings from my step mother-in law. My something old was my grandmother’s necklace.
Why did you choose this location: We chose to get married at Colgate University where we both went to school.
Tips for a destination Wedding: Take advantage of as many local vendors as possible. We purchased all of our welcome gifts from the local farmers market, and University Book Store.
Testimonial: My family has been working with Fred (well mostly Andy) Marcus for multiple generations. They have been responsible for capturing special memories at many of my family’s celebrations. You feel at ease with them behind the camera.
