How did Jeff propose? Jeff mailed a love letter to me and in that letter were surprise tickets to Miami for just the two of us. The following day, we flew to Miami where we had an amazing day of jet skiing, swimming, and cruising. That evening, we had dinner on the water and Jeff asked me to join him at the front of the boat. Jeff began telling me how much he loved me and I kept responding to everything he was saying and continuously interrupting him, not even giving him a chance to finish a sentence. At one point Jeff finally said “stop, I am trying to propose to you…” He then got down on one knee and asked, “will you marry me?”
Standout Memory of the night: Our spotlight dance. Jeff and I had separately pre-recorded an interview about one another which was compiled into a voiced over sound track of “Thinking out Loud.” We shared another dance, just the two of us, surrounded by all of our family and friends and listening to the recording we had done for one another for the very first time. It was really a breathtaking moment.
Honeymoon Location: The following morning, we flew out to Greece and travelled from Athens, to Crete, to Santorini, to Mykonos.
One piece of advice that you could give to other couples: Enjoy every moment of it and make the wedding all about the two of you.
Wedding Dress: Mark Zunino at Kleinfeld Bridal
Groom’s Tux: Valentino
Bridesmaids’ Gift and Groomsmen’ Gift:
For bridesmaid gifts, I went with pave diamond necklaces purchased at Fashun Lane .
And Jeff picked out matching bow ties from Saks for the groomsmen.
Something Blue and Something Borrowed: My something borrowed was my necklace and earrings. My something blue was my mother’s sapphire ring which she received as a gift from her mother on her 16th birthday.
