As December draws to an end I would like to take a moment to thank you all for your loyalty and support. 2016 has been a particularly memorable year at our studio. We photographed so many beautiful events with so many wonderful clients and on a personal note, we experienced an exciting addition and a tremendous loss. My son Freddy was born on October 9th and seems to have inherited his great-grandfather’s contagious smile. He has already brought our family so much joy and we can’t wait to see what life has in store for him.

On a sadder note we also said goodbye to our matriarch, Gerda Marcus. She worked by her late husband Fred’s side for almost half of her life and her gentle nature and grace will be missed and remembered forever. I feel so blessed that she was alive to meet Freddy and was even able to attend his bris. The photographs of them together from that day are just incredible. I have looked at them countless times and have them framed on my desk. They are truly priceless to me and serve as a reminder of how important Fred Marcus Studio is to so many people. We take our job creating and preserving your memories very seriously and at the end of an emotional year we wanted to take a moment to thank you for trusting us for so many years to do this for you. We wish you only love, health and laughter and of course, many many happy occasions in the coming year.
