Erica & Jessica: West Village Engagement Session - New York City
Engagement sessions are about making our couples feel comfortable in front of the camera. It’s also a great way for us to learn about our couples in preparation for the big day. Erica & Jessica are getting married next year on the upper west side of Manhattan so we thought it’d be fun to photograph their engagement session on the opposite side of the city, the West Village. We spent a sunny afternoon last week exploring the charm of the west village streets with our beautiful couple. E & J were naturals. Their love and emotion towards each other was so easy to capture and needed almost no guidance. We cannot wait to capture their union when they exchange rings next year! In the meantime, enjoy some of our favorite moments from their shoot. Congrats ladies!!

Morgan, Jason & Hachi - Engagement Session
When we met Morgan, Jason and Hachi on the Lower East Side for their engagement session, we were a little worried that they didn’t bring a designated dog sitter. A few photos with the pup could be fun, but to have him there for the entire shoot? We weren’t sure how long he was going to last. To our surprise, Hachi could not have been a better 3rd wheel. He was calm, cooperative, and an all around pleasure to photograph. Morgan & Jason were so happy to have him there, he is truly part of their family. I hope we see him again at the wedding!!
Carli & Ryan: Riverside Park
What happens when you combine a sex therapist and a world class chef?!?
There are probably a few funny answers to that question but from a photographer’s perspective the answer is amazing pictures!!!
The chemistry between Carli and Ryan is explosive and their fall engagement pictures came out beautifully.
The rich gold light and autumn colors were at their peak and Brian had so much fun working with this gorgeous energetic couple.

Lori & Jeffrey, Riverside Park Engagement
“Jeff and I met on an app called Coffee Meets Bagel. I knew when I saw his picture that he was the man I would marry. He saw that I was wearing a Phish shirt in my profile picture, and we soon discovered that we had both gone to all four nights of Phish over New Years at Madison Square Garden. But how could we have met in a crowd of 18,000? We had our first date on February 13th 2014, on a rainy night. Later on we told each other that we considered not going at all, as we were both going away the next day. We went to an old-time restaurant on the Upper East Side, and we knew from that date it was meant to be. Lucky we didn’t cancel!” – Lori
Rebecca & Justin, Central Park Engagement Session
Summer is in full swing, and we can’t be more excited! This time of the year is most popular for engagement sessions and it gives us the opportunity to spend our afternoons all around NYC photographing beautiful couples. We love it!! Here’s a peak at Rebecca & Justin’s Central Park engagement session we photographed a few weeks ago. These two were so much fun!
